We are pleased to announce the launch of the web site for Card Advocacy. Please take a moment to read our press release and visit our web site at www.cardadvocacy.com.

We formed the organization to address the management challenges, including growing costs, for businesses in the card industry – from procurement to contract management to fulfillment. There are leaks in the process for many businesses and Card Advocacy is here to provide the consulting services clients need to keep the costs contained and find new opportunities for revenue generation.

This article from CNBC.com and this one from Forbes address a few of the many challenges facing the credit card industry.

Many areas of the plastic card industry are evolving. For instance in Canada, (gift cards) are currently under legal scrutiny. It can be a challenge for both businesses and consumers to keep up with the changes that are happening with the plastic they carry every day.

Card Advocacy goes to market through consulting, CardeMotions.com and Card Program Partners. CardeMotions.com addresses the growing market for “customized” cards direct to consumers, groups and associations.

Through CardeMotions.com, customers can customize a card with their own digital photo or select from an image bank to generate a high-quality card. A great quote in a recent news article noted, “Having a card that shows a picture or design that has a personal connection to the cardholder keeps that card in the coveted “top-of-wallet” spot, observers say.”

Card Program Partners is a portal for the submission, sharing, and procurement of card program business opportunities between all organizations associated with the card industry.

Thanks to all of our partners and business associates who have supported our launch. Keep checking back to our blog as we comment on the challenges and opportunities facing the plastic card industry.
